Texan Rider Bronze Replica - 14x11
$1,400.00

The Texan Rider, a proud symbol of Tarleton State University since 1961, was chosen by the student body as the athletic mascot to represent the spirit and resilience of our community. In creating this bronze replica, my aim was to capture the strength and legacy of the original statue while making it accessible to a broader audience. I wanted this piece to resonate with both current students and alumni, embodying a deep sense of accomplishment and pride that says, "Yes, that's my University."

With its rich history and powerful presence, The Texan Rider will continue to inspire Tarleton fans and sports enthusiasts. I hope it also serves as a formidable sight for visiting opponents, a visual reminder of the pride we hold for our institution.

Being a part of this landmark project fills me with immense pride and a profound sense of honor. It's more than just a statue; it's a commitment to the future of Tarleton State University, a lasting symbol that reflects the heart and soul of this great institution.

This project has been years in the making, initiated during the university's pursuit of D-1 classification. Once Memorial Stadium's reconstruction was completed, the need for a mascot statue became evident—it was the final piece to anchor this grand structure. The scope of this project is vast, but the opportunity to design and create a symbol that will endure through generations is a challenge I am proud to embrace.
